bullet Exterior portions of a representative sampling of doors and windows.
bullet Attached decks, porches, balconies, stairs, columns, walkways, guardrails and handrails.

ROOF COVERINGS

bullet Roof coverings.
bullet Flashing, vents, skylights and other penetrations.
bullet Roof drainage systems.

ATTIC and ROOF FRAMING

bullet Framing and sheathing.
bullet Access opening(s) and accessibility.
bullet Insulation material(s).
bullet Ventilation.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS

bullet Service conductors, equipment, and capacity.
bullet Panels and overcurrent protection devices.
bullet Service and equipment grounding.
bullet Wiring types and methods.
bullet A representative sampling of switches, receptacles, and light fixtures.
bullet Ground-fault circuit-interrupters.

PLUMBING

bullet Supply, waste, and vent piping.
bullet Fixtures, faucets and drains.
bullet Water heating equipment, including combustion air, venting, connections, energy sources, seismic bracing, and temperature-pressure relief valves.
bullet Functional flow of water supply and functional drainage at fixtures.
bullet Gas piping and connectors.
bullet Cross-connections.

HEATING SYSTEM

bullet Heating equipment and operation using normal user controls.
bullet Venting systems.
bullet Combustion and ventilating air.
bullet Energy source and connections.
bullet Heating distribution system(s)

CENTRAL COOLING SYSTEMS

bullet Cooling equipment and operation using normal user controls.
bullet Cooling distribution system(s).
bullet Energy source and connections.
bullet Condensate drains including a representative sampling of ducting, duct insulation, outlets, piping systems and valves.

FIREPLACES and CHIMNEYS

bullet Chimneys, flues, dampers and associated components.
bullet Fireboxes, hearth extensions and permanently installed accessory components.
bullet Manufactured solid-fuel or gas-burning appliances.

INTERIOR

bullet Walls, ceilings and floors.
bullet Security bars, ventilation components, and a representative sampling of doors and windows.
bullet Stairs, handrails, and guardrails.
bullet Permanently installed cabinet and countertop surfaces.
bullet Safety glazing in locations subject to human impact.
